Otis manufacturing produces futon mattresses
unlike any other. Every futon mattress is overstuffed with high
resistance foam and fiber and then pressurized to create an "inside
out" force against the outer cover, which provides proper support
and comfort levels. We especially liked the finished look of the
mattresses, as well. Otis builds each mattress by hand, boxing the
edges so that the mattress has a tailored, neat appearance. The
weight of material used for the off-white outer cover is 7.25 oz.
twill, the heaviest weighted cover material we had seen. The best
part...all of our Otis mattresses are shipped UPS or FedEx, after
being vacuum packed and sealed in a sturdy box at half its
original size. This makes for easily handling. Upon opening the box
and interior bag, the mattress quickly "re-inflates" itself to its

A slim 6" thick, this Euro style
futon mattress features a medium firm feel, with a low profile,
leaner and faster looking build. Really looks great on a
contemporary style futon frame. A whopping 10" thick before
compression, the mattress features a 7.25 oz. heavyweight twill
covering, thermally bonded polyester fiber for clean lines (no
lumpiness) and a finished appearance, Flame Safe Barrier, and
multiple layers of 2.2 pound high density block and convoluted foam
for maximum durability and performance. When ordering a cover from
us for this mattress, make sure you choose the 4" loft option to
allow for a tighter, snug fit.

Our medium firm 8" thick
futon mattress offers therapeutic style support and comfort. Before
compression and lace tufting (to prevent migration of contents),
this baby is 12" thick on the bench. Crafted using 9" of convoluted
foam for breathability, allowing this mattress to feel cooler, and
somewhat more flexible, even for a medium firm futon mattress. A
double wrap of thermally bonded poly fiber for cushiness and clean
appearance. Great for couch use primarily, but offers your
houseguests a quality nights sleep, as well. An outstanding choice
for a workhorse futon mattress.

Our plusher, moderately firm
futon mattress, the Moonshadow is our most popular model. Great for
platform beds and futon couches, it starts out on the workbench at a
whopping 12" thick, and is compressed and tufted into an 8" final
finish height. The outside covering features the Otis 7.5 oz heavier
weighted twill fabric for durability and longevity. Inside, 10" of
high density convoluted and slab foam are interlayered with
cushioning material and thermally bonded polyester. The end result
is a plusher, not too firm, buoyant kind of feel, not as resilient
as the Haley or Stratosphere. So, if you prefer a little cushy in
the tushy, the Moonshadow futon mattress is for
you!

overstuffed cushioning material and 4" of slab foam to offer
